Ambi’s body refused to be ignored.

  • Ambi Awoke to
    • Overwhelming nausea, so severe that go to favorite bread and peppermint tea were fruitless
    • Strong recollections of nightfall consumed by vividly intense dreams
    • Staggering malicious thoughts concerning the past, present and future
    • Multiple undeniable misgivings.
    Ambi went to work expo
    • Which involved doing “work” that Ambi felt put on the earth to do (grounded in purpose and passion).
    • Meanwhile, Ambi was substantially lightheaded and fatigued
    • A single bite of an orange was interpreted by Ambi’s body as an immediate threat
    • With oral manifestation impending, Ambi rushed for anywhere with less prying eyes
    • Ambi projectile vomited on self, work shirt, wall etc…
    • Ashamed Ambi snuck away from public view to swiftly reorder self
    • Ambi’s attempt to return to society unnoticed with foiled when a security guard noticed Ambi being stuck between locked doors
    • When confronted regarding the antecedent, Ambi was equivocal by mentioning the bathroom search
    • To further avoid suspicion, Ambi went to concession stand to retrieve a plastic bag to put evidence-covered-work-blouse inside
    Ambi went back to work
    • Coworker A made comment about Ambi’s change of clothing and asked something about Ambi removing t-shirt for temperature regulation purposes. Ambi responded “something like that“.
    • Coworker B asked if the food had stayed down, to which Ambi responded in the contrary.
    • Coworker B inquired if Ambi was on medication for anxiety, to which Ambi elaborated that their current medication was chaperoned by food.
    • Coworker B mentioned that there were anxiety medications that didn’t require food as a consort.
    • “Interesting…” Ambi thought, but absence of a family doctor from health roster made medication adjustments arduous.
    Ambi continued working
    • Ambi messaged one of their “CARE team members (CARET) requesting their urgent presence and a fresh disguise.
    • Care team member arrived with clean shirt and Ambi attempted to efficiently and subtly explain the help they personally needed:
      • 1) Be witness / an ally to believe in Ambi’s experience
      • 2) Provide physical support with piloting expo booth
    • So that Ambi could take breaks to:
      • haggle with body over fluids and fare
      • act on urgent bathroom cues to relieve indisputable nausea
      • *attempt to* take deep breaths
    • Ambi projectile vomited two additional times…
On the STALL floor in the public bathroom Ambi:
    • Struggled to stay in an upright seated position
    • The level of fatigue experienced was equivalent to the exhaustion of an athlete after their olympic debut.
    • The dizziness was so intense Ambi had a legitimate fear of approaching unconsciousness
    • But still Ambi’s fears compelled her to return to work.
Coworker B warranted Ambi’s liberation from the expo:
    • CARET took Ambi back to Ambi’s personal residence
    • Ambi made haste to the toilet and orally expressed the lurking nausea.
    • Yes, that brings the oral manifestations to a total of four.
